CONTRACT and CONSTRUCTION Management Services Group-CCMSG
After completing my five year project on the Dubai Dry Dock I accepted an offer to establish a Saudi-Palestinian Joint Venture in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia, Saudi SAC, in order to capitalise on the 20 year expansion programme including the design and build of two cities under a Saudi Royal Commission for Al Jubayl and Yanbu. The Consultants were Bechtel of America the largest Engineering Construction Company in the World. They operated under the American Standards umbrella and Contract Admin procedures. I had become familiar with these Standards and Procedures when working on the Blue Streak Missile Programme. I decided to establish the above company in order to give Consultancy advice to other local companies bidding for work on the new city of Al Jubayl.
H. Phillip Rockhill and Associates HPRA
After returning to the UK in 1984 I completed a four-year turn-around with multinational Atlas Copco and then I met a fellow parishioner who had just moved to the village in Hartley Wintney, Bert Rockhill.
Bert had been running his own professional building services company in the London area for fifty years but changes in the professional services procurement market meant that they would have to bid for future work and expand their traditional markets.
The Cranwood Partnership Ltd
I agreed to join Bert and establish The Cranwood Partnership as the first Consultancy in the new Facilities Management field and eventually became sole owner of the Company for the next twenty-five years until I had to retire due to poor health. We operated for twenty-five years providing a full range of services identified in the list below to major blue chip companies and government bodies around the globe. We became founder members of the BIFM, members of BSI developing harmonized European Standards and Reading University Advisory Board.
The Radcliffe Lad Ltd
After a miraculous recovery I started writing my autobiography which I completed and published whilst on Dialysis and decided to establish The Radcliffe Lad Company both to support my writing fourth career and build on my three previous careers as a family foundation.
